Gathering my things and making the drive down the 5 Freeway from Los Angeles seemed new to me. I used to live in San Diego but this would be six years that I had visited the area. I always knew La Jolla had a lot to offer but was surprised to find how it’s changed since I’ve lived there and yet has kept its charm.
Upon arrival at the Pantai Inn, I quickly remembered how La Jolla is far from ordinary and I see why the name, “America’s Finest City” is so fitting. A bustling sea town surrounded by incredible restaurants, shopping, and community. It was like my first visit all over again.

Welcoming you to the Pantai Inn are the ocean waves kissing the seacliffs just behind you. The sun shines here like it only can in America’s Finest City—big bright and beautiful. You can almost taste the sea salt as the property sits just steps away from the Pacific Ocean.
The staff and guest services are impeccable, making this resort a truly five-star experience. Walk the lush garden grounds and get immediately transported to Bali. The artwork, also Balinese-inspired, adds to the feeling of bringing Bali to San Diego.

The attention to detail is present on every inch of this property. This solo traveler was relaxed and refreshed waking up in a spacious 3 bedroom two bath suite.
