Florida’s Best Restaurants for Solo Travelers: TT’s Tiki Bar

When you think of Florida, what comes to mind? Miami? Key West? Solo travelers think differently. We don’t do the norm. We like far from ordinary locations. We also like far from ordinary dining. From the five stars to street food, I’m always looking for the best, and I found a gem right in Punta Gorda. One of Florida’s best restaurants for solo travelers is TT’s Tiki Bar & Casual Fare.

Part of the perks of solo travel is dining alone. You can enjoy everything around you, peacefully enjoy your meal, and take as long or as little as you’d like. It’s one of the reasons I search for the best restaurants that cater to solo diners. Located in Charlotte Harbor at the Four Points Sheraton, you couldn’t be in a better spot for dinner, cocktails, and lively entertainment as a solo diner.

Step away from the laptop and step into your vacation. Let the wave of relaxation rush over you as t

he warm and salty air engulfs you like a warm hug on the path to TT’s. Don’t you wish all places were like that? You have the perfect mix of anything you’d like: tropical drinks, beer, wine, and some of the best cuisine, TT’s has something for everyone. It’s time to embrace slow living, warm winds, and that tropical vibe.

TT’s menu is extensive with everything you could want: The freshest fish and good ol’ finger foods like chicken wings, burgers, nachos, and pizza. I ordered their Tropical Rice Bowl with ahi tuna that had yellow rice & black beans, mango salsa, Pico de Gallo, cotija cheese, cilantro & avocado cream sauce.

Accompanied by great cocktails, live music, and the incredible sunset that appeared after a torrential downpour, I was in heaven. I sat here for hours, enjoying the band play and the people-watching.

I can see why one of Florida’s best restaurants for solo travelers is TT’s Tiki Bar. It has everything you’d want for a perfect outdoor experience: food, liveliness, and views that rival some of the best in the world. Add TT’s Tiki Bar to your list, it’s a must.

P.S. After I got the tuna bowl, I devoured a burger. Yup. While I love the idea of a fresh ahi tuna bowl, sometimes, a girl needs a burger, and that’s just the beauty of solo travel and solo dining, you do exactly what you want.
